Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff and governors of Belmont C of E primary School, I am delighted to warmly welcome you to our school and to our Belmont school family. We opened on the 1st January 2015, following the amalgamation of Belmont Infant and Belmont Church of England Junior schools. We moved into our new state of the art school in October 2024. 

Choosing a school for your child is probably one of the most important decisions you will make. Every child is unique and precious. Our aim is to provide all children in our care the best possible start to their life within a warm and nurturing Christian environment. Your child's happiness, well-being and learning is at the heart of everything that we do to ensure their time at school is happy, exciting and rewarding. The partnerships that we forge with our families are crucial in your child's journey in school and something which we highly value. 

Our mission statement is: 'Flourishing Together' and we achieve this through high quality teaching and learning, well matched to the needs and interests of our pupils. We believe that pupils learn most efficiently when they are enthusiastic, interested and enjoy their learning from teachers who are confident, knowledgeable and creative in their teaching. I am very proud of the talented staff we have at Belmont who, together constantly strive to provide the very best for the pupils in our care.
