EYFS
In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Belmont Church of England primary school, our curriculum is built on a vision of nurturing the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that every child is a unique and precious individual, created in the image of God, with their own talents, interests, and potential to flourish. Our EYFS curriculum provides a rich, play-based and purposeful learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning are encouraged from the very start. Through carefully planned experiences and meaningful interactions, children develop strong foundations in communication, early literacy, mathematics, and personal development. Guided by our Christian values, we aim to foster confidence, compassion, and resilience, enabling every child to grow in wisdom and joy as they begin their lifelong journey of learning and faith.
